Reports to: Operations Manager
A ski patrol job includes:
- Lots of skiing
- First aid assessment, treatment and transportation via toboggan or snowmobile
Incident investigation paperwork - Daily and ongoing hazard assessment
- Trail crew tasks such as fencing and shovelling
- Assisting with avalanche control missions
- Dispatcher duties including: Microsoft Office, telephone and radio communications
- Emergency lift evacuation
- Knowledge and application of the Alpine Responsibility Code
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Job requirements:
- Advanced skiing ability (black diamond moguls)
- Valid 80-hour wilderness first aid certification or equivalent
- Valid CPR or HCP certificate
- High level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
- Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly for communication using radios and telephone
Job assets:
- CSIA Level 1 or 2
- AST 1 or 2
- CAA Level 1
- Climbing and rope skills
- Snowmobile operation
- Previous patrol experience

Hours: This position is full-time. Part-time positions also available.
Salary: The qualified applicant will be paid $14-$15 per hour.
