King of the Mountain has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 27 due to heavy snowfall forecast on Friday into early Saturday. This is great news for conditions on the mountain but we want to make sure everyone arrives safely.
UP HILL SNOW DRAGS MARCH
26th 27th 2022
Location is Ski Cape Smokey Ski Hill, Ingonish, Cape Breton
TECH OPENS AT 8:00 am ends at 9:30am sharp.
Kids classes start at 10:00am and larger classes immediately after.
There will be random Bore checks completed. If you pay for a class and the Engine is found to have a larger bore then the sled is registered for, you will be removed from that class and no refund will be given.
NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ALLOWED ON SITE
SKI CAPE SMOKEY UPHILL SNOWMOBILE DRAG RACE BASIC RULES
This will be Rubber tracks only, No studs in these Classes.
The track will be 500′ in length, 3 lanes.
Stock Turbos will enter the 1000 2-Stroke Stock Class.
Race day March 26th with a rain day of March 27th
$45 + HST for Early Online Pre-registration
$50 + HST for Saturday registration
Each race will be $15 + HST (three classes per sled)
$20 + HST for Insurance for each machine racing
$20 + HST for kids (covers cost of insurance and classes) Age 12 and under
A “Top Gun 2 stroke class” will be added to the event this year as well as King of the Hill. There must be at least 3 sleds to run a class.
Tethers mandatory in ALL CLASSES
Tek vests mandatory in Improved, Pro-Stock, Turbo Classes, Top 2 Stroke, Outlaw and KOTH.
Tek Vests highly recommended for your safety in all other classes
